With strategically integrated mezzanine flooring, we’ve maximised our safe and productive space, allowing us to handle all scales of steelwork and steel fabrication with seamless precision. Being perfectly situated next to the River Thames and with excellent links to major road networks, our factory is ideally placed to serve the entire South East of England. This means we can efficiently deliver your fabricated steel to sites across London, Essex, Surrey, and Sussex, ensuring your project stays on schedule, no matter where you are in the region.
Housing both our advanced workshop and head office under one roof ensures flawless communication. This integrated setup means our customer service team is directly connected to the factory floor, making communication effortless and responsive. Within our factory, a comprehensive racking system keeps our extensive steel stock and off-the-shelf orders perfectly organised. This streamlined system significantly enhances control and efficiency, managing our busy steel fabrication workflow to meet client demands effectively. By centralising our storage and production, we offer our customers unbeatable quality and competitive pricing on all steel products. Our highly trained staff are also expertly proficient in safely and efficiently operating our gantry cranes, capable of lifting up to 10 tonnes for precise loading and offloading of steel.
Quality and safety are paramount in everything we do. Our factory operates under full, comprehensive health and safety procedures, strictly compliant with HSE guidelines. We adhere to the highest standards of quality and service, consistently following all steel industry standards and CE requirements based on the National Structural Steelwork Specification (NSSS). The NSSS is our blueprint for the design and execution of structural steelwork to both British and European standards, covering everything from material sourcing and meticulous workmanship to protective treatments and robust quality management. Our commitment to these standards is affirmed through annual independent audits, ensuring continuous excellence in every steel fabrication project we undertake.
MAH STEEL FACILITIES
Workshop
The MAH Steel workshop is located in Gravesend’s Imperial Business Park allowing for easy access and transport to any site within the South East area.
The large size of our steel workshop lets us to take on all sizes of projects from small domestic steel product orders to large scale steel structural fabrication. We turnaround on average 130 – 150 tonnes of steel every single week.
Thanks to our fully equipped space and highly trained and experienced staff, we are very proud to be known as the highest quality steel supplier in Kent and the South East of England.
MAH STEEL FABRICATION CAPABILITIES
Production / Manufacturing
The entire MAH Steel team strictly follow all CE requirements in order to work on any steel fabrication project or order we receive. All our steel fabricators and welders are coded under EN ISO EN9606-1 in order to meet the highest possible standards.
Our internal welding coordinators (IWC) and our responsible welding coordinator (RWC) follow Factory Production Control based on the EN ISO 3834-3:2005, BS EN 1090-1:2009+a1:2011 / BS EN 1090-2: 2018 documents.
Our highly qualified workshop manager has 20 years of experience within the steel industry and runs a productive and efficient team. No matter the size of a project, whether it’s a single steel beam to a complex structural frame, all of our steel fabrication and welding work on every order is thoroughly tested and checked. From the ordering phase all the way to it being loaded on to our trucks and delivered to your site, we quality check at every single stage to be sure you are receiving faultless steel fabrication work. We also keep our customers updated at each stage and included in every step of their orders progress.
Our steel plates and steel sections are all produced on the newest CNC machinery and drilling line technology, allowing for a ± tolerance of 0.0025mm. This includes the highest standard for all milling, drilling, scribing and marking on all of our projects.
MAH Steel are one of the first steel fabricators in Kent to implement lean operations in to the welding and steel fabrication industries. The continual and consistent hard work of the entire MAH Steel team has made us aware of the newest and most effective opportunities to implement new steel fabrication technology into one of the oldest trades in the construction industry.

Welding
