Steel fabrication for Hertfordshire

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop in Kent for projects across Hertfordshire, from Watford, St Albans and Hemel Hempstead in the south and west to Stevenage in the north, with delivery by lorry-mounted crane (HIAB). The county is crossed by the M1, M25, A1(M) and A41, and much of its undeveloped land is green belt.

From Gravesend, Hertfordshire is reached by the M25 anticlockwise through the Dartford Crossing, which is a charged crossing, so allow for it on deliveries. Hertfordshire can also be reached the other way round, via the south and west of the M25, and the route is chosen per delivery according to the destination.

Round the north side of the M25, junction 25 leads to the A10 towards Enfield and Hertford, junction 24 to the A111 towards Potters Bar, and junction 23 to the A1(M) towards Hatfield. Junction 22 gives the A1081 towards St Albans, and junction 21A the A405 towards St Albans and Watford. Junction 21 joins the M1, and junction 20 leads onto the A41 towards Hemel Hempstead and Watford, with the A414 running across to the M1. Hertford is the county town and Watford the largest settlement.
