Steel fabrication for East Sussex

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop in Kent for residential, commercial and industrial projects across East Sussex, from Brighton and Lewes to Eastbourne, Hastings and Rye, with delivery by lorry-mounted crane (HIAB). The county's main roads include the A21 to Hastings, the A22 to Eastbourne and the A23 to Brighton.

East Sussex is reached from Gravesend along the roads that run south from the M25. The A21, joined at junction 5, passes Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Lamberhurst on its way to Hastings, and the A268 leaves it at Flimwell for Rye. The A22, from junction 6, leads through East Grinstead and Uckfield to Hailsham, Polegate and Eastbourne, and the A26 links Tonbridge with Crowborough, Uckfield, Lewes and Newhaven. For Brighton, the M25 and M23 join the A23 south of Pease Pottage. The route is chosen according to the destination.

The county has five districts: Lewes, Wealden, Rother, Eastbourne and Hastings. Brighton and Hove is a separate unitary authority within the ceremonial county, so a Brighton address and a Lewes address can sit under different councils even though both are in East Sussex. The A27 ties the coast together, connecting Eastbourne with Portsmouth, and parts of the coast, including the Seven Sisters, lie within the South Downs National Park.
