The Factory
Our steel fabrication factory spans 22,000 square feet and is designed for efficient, high-volume production. We regularly process significant quantities of structural steel each week, supporting projects of all sizes with reliable lead times.
The workshop is equipped with gantry cranes up to 10 tonnes and a structured racking system, ensuring safe handling and efficient workflow from storage through to fabrication and dispatch.
Using modern fabrication methods, including CNC processing where required, we achieve high levels of precision and consistency across all components, supporting smooth installation on site.
With head office and workshop operating together, communication is direct and efficient, helping maintain clear coordination and steady project progress.
All work is subject to strict quality control checks at every stage, ensuring steel meets required specifications before delivery.

Workshop
The MAH Steel workshop is located in Gravesend’s Imperial Business Park allowing for easy access and transport to any site within the South East area.
The large size of our steel workshop lets us to take on all sizes of projects from small domestic steel product orders to large scale steel structural fabrication. We turnaround on average 130 – 150 tonnes of steel every single week.
Thanks to our fully equipped space and highly trained and experienced staff, we are very proud to be known as the highest quality steel supplier in Kent and the South East of England.
MAH STEEL FABRICATION CAPABILITIES
Production / Manufacturing
All work at MAH Steel is carried out in line with CE requirements and recognised industry standards. Our welders are certified to EN ISO 9606-1, with procedures aligned to EN ISO 3834-3 and BS EN 1090.
Quality control is applied at every stage, ensuring all steel is accurate, compliant, and ready for installation. Our workshop uses modern CNC machinery to deliver consistent precision, supported by efficient processes and reliable turnaround times.Factory Services
Connection design
We're able to design anything from simple to unorthodox connection configurations, and utilise the latest technology for stress testing and serviceability criteria including deflection, vibration and durability.
Welding
Welding is an essential part of steel fabrication and we know there is no room for error. MAH Steel employ the best skilled and highly experienced welders to work at our facilities, using the latest equipment to meet all Health and Safety standards and industry regulations.
