Where do you fit into the project?

One job can involve a homeowner, builder, architect, engineer and developer. Each has different pressures and decisions to make. Find the support that matters to you.

Homeowners & self-builders

Good steelwork starts with knowing what you need.

An extension, loft conversion or structural alteration can be unfamiliar territory. You may have an engineer's drawings, but still need to know what to send, who makes the steel and how it will get to your property.

MAH can talk through the fabrication requirements, work alongside your builder and plan delivery around the access available. You do not need to know all the technical terminology before making an enquiry.

Builders & contractors

Steel that fits the job and respects the programme.

When a site is busy, accurate fabrication and the right delivery arrangements make a real difference. MAH works from agreed drawings and specifications, with practical coordination before steel reaches site.

For London work, narrow roads, restricted access and limited unloading space all need consideration. MAH's experienced drivers and own HIAB-equipped lorries, including crane options with up to 30m reach, can help with challenging deliveries where site conditions allow.

Architects & structural engineers

From technical drawings to fabrication-ready steel.

MAH works with design professionals to turn specified steelwork into components that can be made, checked and delivered. Early discussion of connections, dimensions, handling and installation can help avoid complications later.

Drawing coordination, CAD and 3D modelling services are available where appropriate. The focus is on working constructively with the project team and keeping the approved design at the centre of fabrication.

Coordinated steelwork for bigger programmes.

Larger developments, phased construction and repeat programmes bring their own logistical challenges. MAH supports fabricated steel packages with a Gravesend workshop, experienced team and an in-house delivery fleet.

Whether the requirement is a structural frame, bespoke fabricated components or a sequence of deliveries, the starting point is the same: clear specifications, a realistic programme and communication with the people managing the project.

Let's talk about your steelwork.

Not sure where to start? Send your drawings or outline what you're planning. MAH can discuss fabrication, coordination and the practicalities of getting steel to site.
