Steel fabrication for Kent

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop for building projects across Kent and Medway, from the Medway towns, Canterbury and the Thanet coast to Dover, Folkestone and Maidstone. Deliveries use lorry-mounted cranes (HIAB), with the M2, M20, A2 and A21 the principal corridors.

Kent is home ground for MAH: the workshop is in Gravesend, so Kent deliveries leave from inside the county rather than having to cross the Thames. Steel is cut and fabricated at the workshop from the structural engineer's drawings, checked before it leaves, and drawn from a large stock of structural sections held on site, which lets us respond to planned and urgent requirements alike.

The principal roads fan out from Gravesend. The A2 and M2 serve the Medway towns, Sittingbourne and Faversham, and carry on past Brenley Corner towards Canterbury, Whitstable and Herne Bay. The A299 Thanet Way continues to Margate and Ramsgate. Dover is reached by the A2 or by the M20 and A20, and the M20 serves Ashford, Hythe and Folkestone. Maidstone and Mid Kent can be reached via the M2 and A229 or via the A227 and M20, while the A227, M25 and A21 lead to Sevenoaks and Tonbridge. The best road depends on the destination, so it is chosen for each delivery.
