Steel fabrication for Chatham

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop in Kent for building projects in Chatham and the neighbouring Medway towns of Rochester, Gillingham and Rainham, where Victorian terraces around Luton sit alongside the redeveloped Chatham Maritime waterfront, with delivery by lorry-mounted crane (HIAB).

Chatham is on the A2 corridor out of Gravesend. The A2 follows Watling Street past the town, while the M2 bypasses the Medway towns to the south, so the better road depends on which side of the conurbation the site is and is chosen for each delivery.

Heritage is part of the setting. Chatham Historic Dockyard preserves about 84 acres of the Royal Dockyard and Fort Amherst dates from 1756, so tell us if the site is near either. MAH also works on site, with mobile welding, cutting and drilling tools, for adjustments once the steel is in place. The 15 m, 22 m and 30 m (fly jib) HIAB options are confirmed per job.
