A residential steel job in Sevenoaks, where we fabricated, delivered and installed the steel. It demanded careful planning, expert coordination and precise timing.
How we did it
Planning and fabrication
We spent hours liaising with the client and our installation team, planning exactly how to deliver, position and fit every component. Once the plans were final, we cut and fabricated all the beams and columns needed for the structure, each checked for accuracy and strength.
Delivery and installation
Delivery and installation were completed over three coordinated phases. Our lorry driver and crane operator worked with the client's on-site crew to unload the large beam safely. From there our installation team guided it into position, working in tight spaces and on uneven ground. The later phases delivered the remaining components, each timed to suit the final assembly.
Outcome
- The 8-metre beam installed, and the remaining components delivered over two further phases
