Steel fabrication for Medway

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop in Kent for building projects across the Medway towns of Strood, Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham and Rainham, on the River Medway. The M2 bypasses the towns to the south, and deliveries use lorry-mounted cranes (HIAB).

The route follows the A2 along Watling Street, the M2 bypass and the A289 Northern Relief Road, with the A228 through Strood. Medway is a unitary authority formed in 1998, with 292,655 people in 2024, and its five towns run west to east from Strood to Rainham.

To the north, the Hoo Peninsula takes in Hoo St Werburgh, Cliffe, High Halstow, Allhallows, Stoke and Grain. With a spread this wide, the address and access matter more than the town name. MAH can fabricate on site as well as at the workshop, and the HIAB options are 15 m for tight access, 22 m for the mid-range and 30 m with fly jib, confirmed per job.
