Steel fabrication for the A2 corridor

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop, which sits on the A2 between the M25 and the M2, and delivers by lorry-mounted crane (HIAB) along the corridor into south-east London and across Kent.

Gravesend sits on the A2, which bypasses the town, runs west to Dartford and the M25 at junction 2, and east to meet the M2 near Strood. Going west it carries steel through Dartford, Bexley and Eltham towards Blackheath, Greenwich and Lewisham, with the A102 Blackwall Tunnel Approach branching off at Shooters Hill and the Old Kent Road continuing to New Cross. Going east it serves Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham, Sittingbourne and Faversham, passes Brenley Corner for Canterbury and reaches Dover; beyond Barham it is single carriageway as the Dover bypass.

A corridor page is not a promise of route or journey time. The M25, the M2 or the M20 may suit a delivery better than the A2, and inside Greater London the rules on loading, cranes on the highway and heavier lorries apply. We choose the road for each delivery and agree scheduling, access and unloading with you beforehand.
