Steel fabrication for Tonbridge

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop in Kent for building projects in Tonbridge, Hildenborough and Southborough, a market town on the River Medway with a 15th-century core around East Street and a floodplain to the south, with delivery by lorry-mounted crane (HIAB) via the A227 and A21.

The A227 runs from Gravesend to Tonbridge by way of Wrotham, and the A21 links London and Hastings and meets the A26 there. After the floods of 1968 and 2013 the Leigh Barrier was built and a 320 m defence on Avebury Avenue followed in 2015, and the park is kept as floodplain.

Tonbridge Castle is an 11th-century motte-and-bailey and the Corn Exchange in Bank Street dates from 1790. The station is an important junction, with lines to London, Ashford, Hastings and Redhill. MAH supplies steel for home extensions and loft conversions, made from the engineer's drawings. HIAB reach is 15 m for tight access, 22 m for the mid-range or 30 m with fly jib, confirmed per job.
