Steel fabrication for Tankerton

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop in Kent for loft conversions, extensions and refurbishments in Tankerton, the seaside suburb of Whitstable, with delivery by lorry-mounted crane (HIAB).

The suburb was developed in the late nineteenth century by the Tankerton Estate Company as a grid of streets running down to the shoreline, after the estate was bought in 1890 and divided into plots sold at auction. Steel for projects here is fabricated at Gravesend and checked before delivery; the principal road corridor is the M2 and the A299 towards Whitstable, with the last streets planned for each delivery.

Tankerton Tower, now Whitstable Castle, stood on the estate, and the Tankerton Slopes are a Site of Special Scientific Interest, so tell us if your site is on or near the seaward side. MAH's onsite team can adjust steel to fit with mobile welding, cutting and drilling tools, and the HIAB options are 15 m, 22 m and 30 m with fly jib, confirmed per job.
