Steel fabrication for Ramsgate

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop in Kent for building projects in Ramsgate and nearby Pegwell and Broadstairs, a town with some 900 listed buildings, many of them Regency and Victorian, around its Royal Harbour, with delivery by lorry-mounted crane (HIAB) via the A299.

For extension and loft work in Ramsgate, steel is fabricated at the Gravesend workshop to the structural engineer's drawings, with MAH coordinating with the architect or builder. The principal road corridor is the M2 and then the A299 Thanet Way, which links the town to the M2 and A2.

More than 200 of Ramsgate's roughly 900 listed buildings are near the harbour, and the East Cliff and West Cliff are mainly residential with promenades along the cliff tops. Where a building is listed, the engineer's drawings set what is fabricated, so allow time for those to be settled before an order. Lifts are carried out by HIAB at 15 m, 22 m or 30 m with a fly jib, with reach and feasibility confirmed per job.
