Steel fabrication for Crowborough

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop in Kent for extensions, loft conversions and refurbishments in Crowborough, with Rotherfield, Mayfield and Uckfield nearby, with delivery by lorry-mounted crane (HIAB). The town is described as the highest in the High Weald, on the eastern edge of Ashdown Forest.

From the workshop the route is the M25 to junction 5, the A21 to Tonbridge, and the A26 through Tunbridge Wells to Crowborough, the town's main road. The A26 runs on south to Newhaven via Uckfield and Lewes.

Crowborough is the highest town in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, reaching 242 m above sea level, and its station is at Jarvis Brook, after the railway arrived in 1868. Rotherfield and Mayfield are nearby. MAH makes steel from the engineer's drawings and also fabricates and welds on site, which helps where a frame must be adjusted to fit. HIAB reach is 15 m, 22 m or 30 m with fly jib, confirmed per job.
