A new client in Wolverhampton needed 76 plant screen posts made from rectangular hollow sections (RHS), each bolted to a wall at one end. We fabricated and blasted them ready for the client's powder coaters, and delivered to the powder coaters.

Project overview

A new client in Wolverhampton needed 76 plant screen posts made from rectangular hollow sections (RHS), with one end bolted to a wall. They were impressed by our competitive pricing and quick turnaround times and placed an order.

How we did it

Drawings and fabrication

Our in-house draftsmen turned the client's specification into detailed technical drawings. Once these were finalised, we sourced the RHS from our wholesaler and brought it to our workshop. The material was checked against the cutting list on arrival, and our fabricators cut the steel to the dimensions specified. Each connection was aligned before welding, working from the confirmed drawings.

Finish and delivery

Our quality assurance team inspected the finished posts. We blasted the steel to prepare it for powder coating, which the client had arranged with a powder coating firm in Wolverhampton. The posts were then loaded onto one of our lorries and delivered to the powder coaters.
