Steel fabrication for Hampstead

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop in Kent for extensions, lofts and refurbishments in Hampstead, Belsize Park, Highgate and Swiss Cottage, with delivery by lorry-mounted crane (HIAB). Hampstead has 18th-century streets such as Church Row and much luxurious housing built in the 1870s and 1880s.

Hampstead has several listed buildings, including Burgh House, Kenwood House and the Grade I listed Isokon building, so older properties may carry listing or planning constraints. MAH fabricates to the structural engineer's drawings at Gravesend and can make modifications to beams and connections on site. The lorry comes in via the M25 and A1(M) and through Camden on the A1 and A400; the A41 Finchley Road runs through Hampstead, and the A502 along the High Street links Camden Town with Golders Green. The final approach is chosen per delivery.

Hampstead is mainly in Camden, but the process for crane licences and parking-bay suspensions varies by borough. Cranes reach 15 m, 22 m or 30 m with fly jib, confirmed per job.
