Steel fabrication for Camden

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop in Kent for lofts, extensions and refurbishments in Camden, including Hampstead, Kentish Town, King's Cross and Bloomsbury, with delivery by lorry-mounted crane (HIAB). The borough runs from the leafy residential streets around Hampstead Heath down to the West End.

Camden has no motorways and few dual carriageways, so the last stretch is by A-road. The principal run is the M25 and A1(M) then the A1, with the A400 running from Archway through Camden High Street and Hampstead Road to Euston Road; the A10 and A503 side is an alternative for the east of the borough. The A5 (Watling Street) forms part of the western boundary.

A borough-wide 20 mph limit applies, extended to TfL red routes in 2022, and kerb markings and signs decide where a lorry can stop and for how long. Where steel needs adjusting to fit once it is on site, MAH can do that onsite with mobile welding, cutting and drilling tools. HIAB reach options are 15 m, 22 m and 30 m with fly jib, confirmed per job and operated by ALMI-trained staff.
