Project overview
MAH Steel fabricated and delivered 10 tonnes of steel for a project in Croydon, including pre-cambered beams: beams made with a deliberate bend. It is the kind of unusual request we like to make happen.
How we did it
Getting it right before it left the yard
We did not start fabrication until every fabrication drawing had been checked and approved, and we asked questions whenever a detail was in doubt. Our fabricators made sure every bolt hole lined up, so the customer could simply bolt the steel together on site. Before the steel was sent out it went through our quality control check.
Delivery
We agreed with the customer what they needed and when, and planned the deliveries to match. Our own fleet of lorries could carry the 10-metre-plus steels, and we used our Hiab to put the steel where it was needed.

10 tonnes of fabricated steel delivered, including two steels over 10 metres long
