Steel fabrication for Havering

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop in Kent for extensions, loft conversions and commercial work across Havering, from Romford, Hornchurch and Upminster to Rainham and Harold Hill. More than half the borough is Green Belt and the M25 forms part of its eastern boundary; we deliver by lorry-mounted crane (HIAB).

Reaching Havering from Gravesend means crossing the Thames at Dartford, a charged crossing between 6am and 10pm every day, then taking the M25 round to the A13 near Rainham or the A12 near Romford. The A127 starts at Gallows Corner and the A124 ends at Upminster. Steel is fabricated to the engineer's drawings and held in stock at the workshop, which lets MAH respond to both planned and urgent requirements.

More than half the borough is Green Belt (23 of its 43 square miles), so some sites sit on the edge of open land rather than on a terraced street. That makes the choice of crane matter: 30 m with fly jib is the high-reach option for complex access, with 15 m and 22 m covering the rest, all confirmed per job. London lorry rules apply on Havering's roads, and a crane on the highway can need a borough licence and parking-bay suspensions.
