Project scope

Following problems with a previous supplier, the client appointed us to design, fabricate and deliver three bespoke crank sections. We provided full design support, precision fabrication, protective coating and on-site assistance, delivering the finished assemblies on time and to the client’s exact specification.

The client had experienced quality and delivery issues with another company and needed a single, reliable supplier to take over the project and prevent further programme delays. The cranks required accurate design translation, tight fabrication tolerances, careful coating to specification, and secure transport and positioning on site.

Our experienced design team produced detailed drawings based on the client’s requirements and secured approval before fabrication commenced. Production was fast-tracked: components were cut accurately, fabricated and jigs-aligned so assemblies fitted exactly as designed. We perform staged quality checks at each production phase to ensure compliance before proceeding. After inspection, all components were primed in our paint bay to the client’s specified finish.

For delivery we loaded the completed crank sections onto our 30m HIAB lorry, secured them for transport and arranged a dedicated driver to assist with site positioning. This ensured a smooth handover and immediate fit-up on site.

All three crank sections arrived on time, assembled without modification and met the client’s performance and finish expectations. Our proactive project management removed the disruption they had experienced previously and restored confidence in the programme.
