Project overview
A new client based in Kent wanted a bespoke heavy bag boxing frame for his garden. He had read our previous case studies and got in touch with an idea and a hand-drawn sketch.
In his own words, standard domestic frames were too small for him and commercial ones were too big or very expensive.
How it was made
Design
Working with the client, our in-house team turned his sketch into detailed fabrication drawings, covering the dimensions and the load requirements, and stayed in touch with him until the design was signed off.
Fabrication and finish
The steel was sourced and cut to size in-house, then assembled to the drawings and checked in-house. It was shot blasted and hot-dip galvanised to protect it outdoors.
Delivery
The finished frame was delivered to the client's home, ready for him to install himself.
Outcome
- Delivered ready for self-installation
- The customer confirmed that everything fitted together and sent photographs of the completed frame
Jordan was absolutely fantastic in helping me realise my vision of a custom designed external boxing bag frame. This is something that I have always wanted to procure because being 6ft 3 most domestic scale boxing frames are too small for me and commercial ones are either too big or very expensive. Jordan was interested in the project right from the start and advised me on tweaks I could do to the design for cost saving or performance which I appreciated massively. I think the delivered frame is beautiful. Thanks Jordan and MAH steel
