Steel fabrication for Finchley

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop in Kent for lofts, basements and extensions in Finchley, including Church End, East Finchley and North Finchley, with delivery by lorry-mounted crane (HIAB). Finchley is mainly a residential suburb in Barnet, where the A1 and the North Circular meet at Henlys Corner.

From Kent the principal route is the M25 and A1(M) and then the A1 into Finchley, reaching Henlys Corner on its southern edge, where the A1 and the A406 North Circular meet and briefly merge. For a basement or loft, steel often has to go over or around the house rather than through the front door. The HIAB can lift over buildings and into rear gardens, with 15 m, 22 m or 30 m with fly jib reach confirmed per job. On borough roads loading is allowed on yellow lines unless kerb markings or signs say otherwise, with typical limits of 20 or 40 minutes, so we agree the lorry's position with you before delivery.
