Steel fabrication for Hayes

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop in Kent for builders and homeowners in Hayes, Harlington and Yeading, on sites from interwar housing to redeveloped industrial land beside the Grand Union Canal, with delivery by lorry-mounted crane (HIAB).

This is Hayes in the London Borough of Hillingdon, where garden-suburb-style homes were built for workers after the First World War and former industrial sites have been redeveloped for housing, such as the Heinz buildings converted to 124 flats. Steel for that kind of alteration and conversion is fabricated at Gravesend to the engineer's drawings, with onsite welding available for adjustments. The lorry comes in via the M25 and M4, leaving at junction 3 for the A312 Parkway, and the Uxbridge Road runs through the town.

Each borough runs its own crane licence process, so Hillingdon's requirements apply here rather than a neighbour's. We confirm the offload position and reach per job: the 22 m crane for mid-range lifts, and the 30 m with fly jib for higher reach, subject to the site.
