Steel fabrication for Merton

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop in Kent for extensions, loft conversions and commercial work across the London Borough of Merton, including Mitcham, Morden, Colliers Wood and Raynes Park, with delivery by lorry-mounted crane (HIAB).

Merton steel travels from Gravesend by the M25 and the A243, which gives access to junction 9 and starts on the A24 through Morden, Merton and Colliers Wood. The A24 meets the A219 at South Wimbledon, and the A3 from junction 10 is the alternative for Raynes Park. Beams, connections and fabricated assemblies are made to the structural engineer's drawings, and MAH can adjust beams and connections on site where an existing frame needs it.

The borough was formed in 1965 from Mitcham, Wimbledon and the old Merton and Morden, so the centres are different places with different approaches. Wimbledon has its own page, and a Mitcham address is not the same job as one in Raynes Park; send the full address and any access or parking details when you enquire. Where the lorry has to stand on a public road, kerb markings and signs decide where it can load, and a crane on the highway can need a borough licence and parking-bay suspensions.
