Project overview
A long-standing customer got in touch about their latest residential extension in West Sussex. They needed a full package of fabricated steel components: drawn, cut, welded, finished and delivered fast. The project began with on-site measurements supplied by the customer, which our design team converted into detailed fabrication drawings.
Work delivered
Fabrication
We pulled the materials straight from our stock. The steel was moved to the saw by forklift and each cut was checked against the list before moving on to fabrication. In the workshop our fabricators confirmed all dimensions before welding on end plates and connections, and every joint and hole was inspected. After welding and drilling, the steels were sandblasted and painted.
Finish and delivery
After drying in the yard the components had a final quality inspection. The bolts, nuts, washers and packers were packed and labelled. Our 30-metre Hiab truck loaded the steels and lifted them into place on site.
