Before production began, we carefully profiled plates for the required connections. Our office team double-checked all dimensions with the customer and supplied final drawings to guarantee absolute accuracy. Once finalised, we sent the order to our workshop. The steel was taken for cutting and rigorously checked against the cutting list before being sawn to the correct length. The cut lengths then moved to our busy fabrication area, where the team verified each piece to confirm accuracy before proceeding with the next steps. The cut ends were cleaned, and the necessary end plates and connection components were fabricated and welded into place. At every stage, our Quality Assurance (QA) team closely inspected the welding and drilling to ensure everything aligned with project specifications.

Finishing touches and steel delivery

With fabrication complete, we moved on to surface preparation and finishing. The steel underwent sandblasting to remove any impurities before receiving a fresh coat of paint in our dedicated paint shed. After painting, we hung the steel to dry, making sure the finish was flawless. A final QA inspection confirmed that every component met the project’s exacting standards.

Before dispatch, our team performed another thorough visual check, ensuring all steel sections met the required specifications. We then secured steel-to-steel fixings, including 150 bolts and splice plates, to complete the job. The fabricated steel was carefully loaded onto our 22-metre Hiab lorry, and our experienced driver checked the load to ensure secure transportation before heading out for an early morning delivery.
