Project Overview
Our client approached MAH Steel for a residential refurbishment and conversion project in West London after previous successful work together. The property was being fully stripped out and rebuilt, requiring a complete structural steel package delivered within a tight timeframe. Working closely with the client’s engineers and architects, we produced detailed fabrication drawings, manufactured the steelwork to specification, and completed the installation on site - delivering the project efficiently and to a high standard.The Challenge
The key challenge on this project was the short lead time from enquiry through to fabrication and installation. Accuracy and communication were essential to ensure all steelwork aligned perfectly on site and kept the refurbishment programme moving.
Our Approach
Design & Planning
To keep the project moving quickly, Jordan “Steelman Joe” personally detailed the steelwork layouts by hand, working directly from the client’s requirements and coordinating closely with engineers and architects to finalise the design.
Fabrication
Once approved, all steel sections were sourced specifically for the project, cut to size, fabricated, welded, and quality checked by our in-house team. The steelwork was then shot blasted and finished with a zinc phosphate primer, with selected beams galvanised where required.
Delivery & Installation
After fabrication, the steelwork was delivered to site in line with the agreed programme and installed by the MAH Steel team. Careful coordination ensured a smooth installation process, helping the client maintain momentum on the refurbishment works.
