Once steel is in production, sequencing becomes important. Rather than fabricating everything in a random order, steel is often planned around how it will be installed. That way, it arrives in a logical flow on site, which reduces handling and avoids teams having to sort through material before they can start working.

As the job progresses, things rarely stay static. Site access can change, crane availability shifts, and other trades can impact timing. Good communication between workshop and site helps keep everything aligned so steel arrives when it can actually be used, not just when it’s ready.

Delivery sits right in the middle of all this. On busy residential and commercial sites across London and the South East, timing is often just as important as fabrication itself.
