Steel fabrication for Chichester

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop in Kent for extensions, loft conversions and commercial work in Chichester, the only city in West Sussex, whose centre follows its Roman street plan, with delivery by lorry-mounted crane (HIAB).

From Gravesend the steel goes round the M25 to the A24, down to Worthing, then west along the A27 through Arundel to Chichester. The A27 coastal trunk road passes south of the city, the A259 joins it there and the A286 runs north towards Haslemere. The A3 route is an alternative corridor, and the road used is chosen for each delivery.

Beyond the Roman street plan, the conservation area includes many Grade I and II listed buildings, so mention it if your site is close. We confirm the HIAB (15 m, 22 m or 30 m with fly jib) once the access and offload position are known.
