Steel fabrication for Crawley

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop in Kent for extensions, commercial and industrial projects in Crawley, Horsham and Burgess Hill, with delivery by lorry-mounted crane (HIAB). Crawley is a New Town beside Gatwick Airport, with the Manor Royal business area to the north-east.

Crawley was designated a New Town on 9 January 1947 and has 14 residential neighbourhoods, including Tilgate, Pound Hill and Forge Wood. The industrial side is Manor Royal, which began with light and precision engineering and later gained airport-related logistics and distribution firms. A large stock of structural sections is held at Gravesend for planned and urgent requirements.

From Kent the steel runs round the M25 and down the M23: junction 9 is Gatwick, and junctions 10 and 10A serve Crawley. For onsite welding or adjustments, MAH's team brings its own tools. The 15 m, 22 m and 30 m (fly jib) HIAB options are confirmed per job once the access is known.
