Steel fabrication for Southampton

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop in Kent for extensions, loft conversions and commercial projects in Southampton, from the Itchen and Test rivers to Eastleigh and Totton, with lorry-mounted crane (HIAB) delivery assessed for each address. Part of the medieval town wall survives, and much of the rest of the city was redeveloped after the Second World War.

MAH supplies Southampton customers from Gravesend, where a large stock of structural sections is held and fabrication is checked before delivery. The principal road corridor leaves the M25 at junction 12 for the M3, which meets the M27 at the M3's junction 14. The M27 crosses the River Test to the north of the city and serves it from several junctions.

Much of the city was levelled in the Second World War and redeveloped afterwards; Eastleigh and Totton are among the neighbouring settlements. The 15 m HIAB is suited to tight access and residential streets, with 22 m and 30 m with a fly jib for longer reach, all confirmed per job.
