Steel fabrication for Winchester

MAH Steel fabricates structural steel at our Gravesend workshop in Kent for extensions, loft conversions and commercial projects in Winchester, the cathedral city and county town of Hampshire on the River Itchen, with lorry-mounted crane (HIAB) delivery assessed for each address. The city sits at the western end of the South Downs National Park.

Winchester is about 60 miles south-west of London and 14 miles from Southampton, near the M3 and at the meeting of the A34, A31, A3090 and A272. The principal road corridor takes the M25 to junction 12 and the M3, which has several junctions serving the city. Steel for extensions and lofts is fabricated at Gravesend and checked before delivery, drawing on a large stock of sections.

The city's landmarks include Winchester Cathedral, the Great Hall of Winchester Castle and the Hospital of St Cross. Twyford and Kings Worthy are close by. HIAB cranes reach 15 m, 22 m and 30 m with a fly jib, with reach and feasibility confirmed per job.
