Custom steel fabrication project in Kent

We were approached by a new client based in Kent – a keen boxing enthusiast looking to bring his training home with a bespoke heavy bag boxing frame installed in his garden. Having reviewed our previous case studies and impressed by our experience in structural steel fabrication, he got in touch to discuss his idea.

Working closely with the client, we developed a tailored design based on a hand-drawn sketch he had provided. Our in-house design and engineering team translated this into detailed fabrication drawings, ensuring that all dimensions and load requirements were accounted for. Throughout the process, we maintained close communication with the client to make sure the final design was exactly as he envisioned.

Once the design was signed off, we sourced the specified steel and cut everything to size in-house using our advanced saw lines operated by fully qualified sawmen. Our coded fabricators then assembled the boxing frame, precisely following the drawings to ensure all joints and structural elements were correctly aligned. Every weld and connection was carried out to exact standards to guarantee long-term performance and safety.

As with all our projects, the frame underwent rigorous in-house quality assurance checks before moving on to finishing. After shot blasting, the steel was hot-dip galvanised to provide long-lasting protection against corrosion and weather damage – an essential step for any structure intended for permanent outdoor use. Once galvanised, the frame was loaded onto one of our fleet vehicles and delivered to the client’s home, ready for self-installation.

The client later confirmed that everything fitted together perfectly and sent us photos of the completed installation.
