Project overview
MAH Steel fabricated the structural steel for a loft conversion in Battersea, South West London. The steel was cut to the correct size and fabricated to the customer's specification.
Work delivered
Fabrication and finish
The steel was taken from our stock to the saw, checked against the cutting list and sawn to the correct length, then moved by forklift to the fabrication area. Our workshop manager issued the job tickets and Tekla drawings, and our in-house inspector checked all the material before the fabricators started. After quality control, the beams went to our spray booth and were coated to 75 microns with our grey zinc phosphate primer.
Delivery
The steels were delivered with our 22-metre crane, lifted up to the scaffolding and into position for the client. The customer was then asked to confirm they were happy and that everything was correct, and the job was signed off.

Since changing my supplier to MAH Steel I can honestly say this has been the best decision, they say what they do, turn up on time and the steels are fabricated spot on, plus they can lift my timber packs as well.
